Digital Cookies,
not the kind you eat.
(sorry)

What are cookies?
Cookies are tiny text files that websites store on your device. They help the site remember things like whether you've visited before. They're digital breadcrumbs, basically. The website kind, not the edible kind.
What cookies does this site use?
Essential cookies (the boring but necessary ones): These keep the site working properly. Without them, things break. You can't opt out of these because then the site wouldn't function.
Analytics cookies (so I know if anyone's actually reading this): I use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, how long they stay, and where they came from. This helps me understand what's useful and what's not. It's anonymous data—I can't see who you are individually.
Email tracking (via Mailchimp): If you're on my email list, Mailchimp uses cookies to track whether you opened an email or clicked a link. This helps me know what's resonating and what's landing like a lead balloon.
Quiz cookies (via Interact): If you take the quiz, Interact uses cookies to remember your answers and deliver your results. Otherwise you'd have to start over every time, which would be annoying.
Booking cookies (via Calendly): If you book a call with me, Calendly uses cookies to manage the booking process and remember your timezone.
Payment cookies (via Stripe): If you pay for coaching via card, Stripe uses cookies to process the payment securely. I prefer bank transfers anyway, but this option exists.
Podcast embeds (via Buzzsprout): If there's a podcast player on the page, Buzzsprout might use cookies to remember your playback position.
How to manage cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Just know that blocking certain cookies might make parts of the site not work properly.
Most browsers let you:
See what cookies are stored
Delete cookies
Block cookies entirely (not recommended)
Set preferences for different types of cookies
Google "manage cookies” in your browser for instructions.
Questions?
If you have questions about cookies, you can contact me. But honestly, this is pretty standard stuff for any modern website.
